I’ve always been grateful for my liberal arts education. Humanities and the arts have guided me over the years, showing me how to live (or not to live), with illuminating examples left by others throughout history. Whether you study literature, philosophy, drama, music appreciation, or art history, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of human nature that will serve you in countless ways. My weekly Sunday "Life Lines" column ran for 14 years in The Daily Tribune (Royal Oak, MI) and won a First Place (Local Columns) award from the Michigan Press Association.
