Family fun

“Even when you’re grown up,
you should never stop having fun.”

At the North American International Auto Show 2018

Getting fancy is a rare opportunity. On Friday night, our family attended the black-tie Charity Preview for the North American International Auto Show. Our car-loving son and his wife thought it would be fun for all of us to get dressed up for an evening at one of the Motor City’s biggest events. (In this photo, from left: Doug, me, Nate, Andrea, and Andrea’s mom, Matilda.) We all had a wonderful time, starting with champagne and appetizers at Matilda’s house, then admiring scores of new cars and trucks at Cobo Center.
